Bank Negara Malaysia (Central Bank of Malaysia), the Department of Statistics, Malaysia and Malaysia Institute of Statistics are jointly organising the 5th Malaysia Statistics Conference (MyStats 2017), to be held on 29 November 2017 at Sasana Kijang, Bank Negara Malaysia. It aims to cover classical statistical and machine learning methods (recursive partitioning, random forest and neural network). The performance of predictions of these methods are compared using the example data of health care, ecological and financial.

The participants must use Rstudio software for practicing data anaylsis. Rstudio is an integrated development environment for R which is more convenient for beginning R users.
