This workshop was held at Chaeng Watthana Government Complex, Building B National Statistical Office of Thailand. The resource person of this workshop is Emeritus Prof. Don McNeil. The assistants of this workshop are Assist. Prof. Apiradee Lim, Assist. Prof. Phattrawan Tongkumchum, and Dr. Pojamas Chuangchang from Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, Prince of Songkla Univesity, Pattani Campus.

It aims to cover classical statistical and machine learning methods (recursive partitioning, random forest and neural network). The performance of predictions of these methods are compared using the example data of health care, ecological and financial.

The participants must use Rstudio software for practicing data anaylsis. Rstudio is an integrated development environment for R which is more convenient for beginning R users.
