This one-day seminar was held in the convention centre auditorium of IPB University's Department of Statistics in Bogor, Indonesia, on Tuesday 15 September 2015.

The seminar began with a keynote presentation by Dr Shigehiko Kanaya (Senior Computational Systems Biologist in the Nara Institute of Science and Technology at Yamagata University in Japan). Due to circumstances that prevented Dr Kanaya's personal attendance, his slides were delivered by Dr Farit M Afendi, who completed his doctorate recently under Professor Kanaya's supervision.

This was followed by 21 8-minute presentations by graduate students from IPB and PSU. After each presentation, a panel of reviewers provided critical appraisal and asked the presenter to respond.

In the pre-lunch session (chaired by Professor Khairil Notodiputro from IPB), the reviewers were Professor Don McNeil (PSU), Dr Sarawuth Chesoh (PSU) and Dr Anang Kurnia (IPB).

For the first afternoon session (chaired by Dr Bagus Sartono from IPB) the reviewers were Professor Virasakdi Chongsuvivatwong (PSU), Dr Apiradee Sae Lim (PSU) and Dr Farit M Afendi (IPB).

The reviewers in the final session (chaired by Dr Anang Kurnia) were Dr Dumaria Tampubolon (Bandung), Dr Hartono (Surabaya), and Dr Phattrawan Tongkumchum (PSU).
