ESPACT is a Malaysian enterprise providing edcuational and training services. ESPACT recently embarked on a project to create a greater academic involvement in Data Science and to move towards the establishment of a Data Science Institute that would drawn in academics.

One of the training programme in data science funded by the Malaysian Human Resources Development Fund is this workshop. The workshop was held on 19th Janurary 2017 at the Royal Selangor Club. There were 15 participants from Malaysia and Singapore.
